Supermodel and supermom Cindy Crawford can now add superdesigner to her evergrowing list of supertitles. Crawford has teamed up with JC Penney stores nationwide to create an affordable homegoods line. The merchandise will range from bedroom furniture to tableware to bedding and to rugs. Prices begin at $23.99 for a decorative pillow.Cindy’s post modelling resume includes furniture lines with Rooms to Go and Raymour and Flannigan. This venture of homeware is comprised of only 20% furniture items so that she is not competing with her other existing lines.

Crawford hopes to inspire the everyday woman by stating, “[the line] is about Cindy Crawford, the real woman, at home with her kids, but still wanting to have nice things”.

The line will debut in September 2009.
